This long par 3 is
downhill,
plays shorter and doesn't have many obstacles.
Even so, most will walk away with a bogie.

The green is wide and larger than most. It's open in front
and allows balls to hit short and run on. The tee shot is usually
played with only a medium-to-long iron because of 2 or 3 factors.
Hitting downhill shortens the shot by about 20 yards. The
smooth, firm surface in front of the green favors landing the ball
about 30 yards short. And, the prevailing breeze will be at your
back.
Tip: Factor-in playing conditions and plan to hit short
of and
toward the right side of the green. Don't attempt to carry the ball
to the green. There's trouble long and left.

You don't want to have to hit your second shot from
here. It's a lot easier chipping from the front of the green. The
putting surface has subtle rolls and some putts are hard to read.
Tip: Downhill chip shots from in front of the green
will come off
the club lower and run farther. Don't read too much break. Play
short putts "inside the hole."

HOLE GOAL: A four's not bad. But, a three wins the hole
or helps you shoot your "all-time low."
