This is a
"comfortable" hole to play.
Manageable length, a wide fairway and not much
trouble allow all players a chance to score.

The tee shot is even easier than it appears. Only a wild
slice right will go out of bounds. If you miss left you'll have to be
lucky to avoid trees and have a clear shot to the green. You'll get
more roll the farther you can carry it off the tee because the ball
will land on the downslope of the fairway.
Tip: Shots hitting the fairway will kick left. So,
pull-out the driver,
aim right-center and swing freely.

After a good drive, you'll have only a wedge to the pin.
Once again, you have to avoid going left and long. Also, be aware
of the new sand trap left of the green.
Tip: Land the ball just on the front part of the green
or run it on.
The prudent play is to hit it short and right. Plan on getting 10
to 20 yards of roll.

Missing the green left and long will leave you with a
difficult shot back up to the putting surface. This green has some
subtle rolls in it. They're tough to see and read.
Tip: Most putts will go toward the back-left of the
green, even
though some look like they'll break toward the front. Watch your
speed, but be firm and don't over-borrow on the short ones.

HOLE GOAL: Reasonably aggressive play can yield a birdie,
but don't take a chance going long. Settle for a par.
