Countryside... plane behind the green.

Hole 18

Par 3  -  230 yards

Middle Tee - 170 yards
Front Tee - 160 yards

This difficult, long par 3
offers a challenging finish to your round.
It's really tough if you need to make a three.

For most golfers, the play from this slightly elevated tee
is a long iron or wood shot. The shallow green is protected in
front by a large bunker. Go left and you'll tangle with big trees.
Go right and risk an unplayable by settling in the Pampas Grass.
Go over and you'll have a hard recovery.

Tip: Even if you can hit a high shot that will carry 230 yards, it
doesn't make sense to try to fly it to this green. On a line over the
bunker, the green is only 50 feet deep. There's only one smart way
to play the shot. Run it on the left part of the green. Land the
ball 20-30 yards short, just over the trees. Sometimes, conditions
will make your club choice just a mid-iron.

This is one of the flatter putting surfaces on the course.
It's relatively easy to hit pitch and chips shots close. The gently
sloping surface allows you to get long putts near the hole and also
gives you a good chance to sink some 15 footers.

Tip: Trust the line you see and make a positive stroke. You can
hole a putt here.
